DaMarcus Beasley again made his case for staying at Manchester City next season, scoring in its 3-1 loss at Arsenal in English Premier League action on Tuesday night.

Beasley, who had a good early effort blocked by defender Kolo Toure, scored in the 41st minute on a feed from Michael Johnson for his third EPL goal of the season — and second in nine days. Beasley joined City this season on loan from Dutch club PSV.

The win temporarily moved Arsenal into third place, ahead of idle Liverpool.
