Barcelona can take hope from Manchester United that Liverpool is beatable at Anfield.

The Spanish club will put its UEFA Champions League title on the line Tuesday night when it faces Liverpool, which takes a 2-1 lead into the game. The Reds are coming off Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Manchester United that ended their 30-game unbeaten home streak in the English Premier League.

Barcelona will need to win and score at least two goals to have a chance of making up its first-leg deficit. It should line up with Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto’o and Lionel Messi up front in an attacking 3-4-3 formation. Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez said his team will be prepared for Barca.

“I cannot influence how they set up, I can only concentrate on our tactics,” the Spaniard said. “But they need to score at least twice. We know they are an attacking side so it will be nothing new if they come here and attack us.”

Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard ridiculed Benitez’s contention that he knows all about how his team will play.

“I think it’s great to play against a team whose manager knows everything,” said Rijkaard, “[but] people who say they know everything are often the ones who know the least.”

While Liverpool won on the road in the first leg, the other teams at home on Tuesday earned ties in the first leg.

Chelsea will face Porto, its Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho‘s former club, at Stamford Bridge. The Blues, who earned a 1-1 tie in Oporto two weeks ago, will be led by Ivorian striker Didier Drogba, who scored his 29th goal of the season in Saturday’s 2-0 EPL win at Portsmouth.

Like Chelsea, Valencia will have the away goals rule on its side when it hosts runaway Serie A leader Inter Milan after a 2-2 draw at the San Siro.

French champion Lyon also earned a tie on the road in the first leg of its series with Roma, but the 0-0 tie will mean a Roma goal at the Stade Gerland could kill Lyon’s hopes on Tuesday.
