The Vancouver Whitecaps became the fourth team to win a second W-League championship, downing Ottawa 3-0 in the final Sunday for their second title in three years. Vancouver advanced to the championship with a 5-0 win over rival Seattle in the semifinals, while Ottawa advanced over Charlotte in a 2-1 decision. Christine Sinclair led Vancouver with three goals in the final four. The Laredo Heat and Michigan Bucks advanced to the PDL championship next Saturday in Laredo. Laredo rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Westchester Flames, while Orange County fell in the semis for a second straight year, this time 2-0 on a pair of Kenny Uzoigwe goals. The PDL championship game will be televised by Fox Soccer Channel on Saturday at 11:30 pm ET.
