Colorado’s revamped uniforms will be the subject of a team press conference this week or next as the club changes its branding again.
The blue-and-black striped home uniforms inspired by Inter Milan, among others, will be replaced by a look something like that worn by English clubs Aston Villa and Burnley, according to a team source. One jersey will be light blue/dark gray trimmed by a color described as either burgundy or maroon, with the darker color predominating on the other jersey.
Team officials have been discussing partnerships with foreign teams yet no alliance has been finalized. A nickname change has also been pondered but is tabled, at least for now. (It is not Aston Villa nor Burnley.)
