Norway continues to lead 2-0 at the half. The Norweigans have dominated play, with Hege Riise and Linda Medalen creating numerous scoring chances for Ann Kristin Aarones (who has connected for both goals).
Brazil has had a few good chances. Roseli made a good run down the flank and crossed to a wide-open Pretinha, but she volleyed a six yard shot over the crossbar. Sonia had a chance from five yards out at the left post, but shot straight to Bente Nordby, the Norweigan keeper.
