Glasgow Rangers beat NK Maribor of Slovenia, 3-1, in the second leg of the third qualifying round of the Champions League. The win gave Rangers a 6-1 aggregrate win and set up meeting with Turkey’s Fenerbahce later this month. The winner of that clash earns passage into the group phase. American Claudio Reyna, who played the whole 90 minutes in the first leg, was unavailable because of injury. Argentine Claudio Caniggia scored twice for Rangers.
