The Mexican federation (FMF) has changed the kickoff time of WednesdayÆs (Sept. 5) World Cup qualifier against Trinidad & Tobago from noon to 9 pm local time. The 11th hour change affects TelemundoÆs Wednesday Hexagonal broadcasts. Telemundo is apparently showing the Mexico-T&T game at 10 pm ET — when it had previously scheduled to show the Costa Rica-USA match. (ESPN2 is showing the U.S. game live at 10 pm ET.) The FMF, which got the approval of FIFA and the Trinidad & Tobago federation, announced it made the change in order to ensure a larger crowd.
