Saint Louis has named assistant Dan Donigan as the Billikens’ new men’s head coach, replacing Bob Warming, who resigned to take over similar duties at Creighton. Donigan, the former University of Connecticut star, is only the fifth men’s coach in the program’s 42-year history. Donigan joined the Billiken coaching staff in 1997 after three seasons as the top assistant at his alma mater. He ranks fifth in all-time UConn scoring, second in career assists and sixth in career goals. He played professionally in the MSL, NPSL and USISL.
