Chicago Fire forward Josh Wolff underwent surgery in his right hernia Jan. 19, to remove a pin that was causing him pain from a previous hernia repair. Dr. Richard Cattey performed the surgery at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis. The pin, which held the mesh covering over his muscle, became loose during Wolff’s training period with the U.S. national team in Chula Vista, Calif. The recovery period for Wolff is still unknown.
