Alan Pradella Brisbane, Queensland, Australia I am the Manager of the Australian schoolboys U-19 soccer team and am looking for contacts to organize a tour for November/December 2001. Can you help me? Mike Woitalla: Alan, you can find scores of contacts through this very Web site. Soccer America’s “Yellow Pages,” which we publish annually, lists more than 7,300 soccer organizations, clubs, leagues, contact people, businesses and companies. And it’s online here. Go to the left column of the home page and, under “Directories,” click on “Yellow Pages,” and you’ll find the search engine. I suggest you start by clicking “Soccer Leagues and Clubs in America.” Perusing those might give you some ideas. (Note: USYSA denotes the United States Youth Soccer Association, and thus the youth soccer you’re looking for.) You can narrow your search, if you have an idea where you might want to go, by searching by state. You may also try searching the National Organizations in North America. Contacting the USYSA itself may not be a bad idea. This should give you a good start at tracking down some contacts. I wish you luck and an enjoyable trip! (If you have a question for a Soccer America Magazine editor, click “Q&A with SA Editors” in the left column of the home page under “Interactive.”)
