U.S. Soccer: New 18 for closed-door game with Norway

U.S. women’s national team coach April Heinrichs put together a new 18-player roster for the Feb. 9 closed-door friendly with Norway at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla. Heinrichs, who made nine changes from the roster that dressed for the 3-2 loss to Norway on Feb. 6, chose the new 18 from her 35-player training camp in Ft. Lauderdale. The match will kick off at 2 p.m. Eastern Time. It is open to the media but closed to the public. Heinrichs will give the game off to veterans Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, Kristine Lilly, Joy Fawcett and Brandi Chastain as well as Women’s World Cup starter Kate Sobrero. U.S. Women’s National Team Roster
