Hernan Crespo scored on a penalty kick in the 50th minute to give Argentina a 2-1 lead.
The kick was awarded after Nigeria’s Taribo West pulled down Ariel Ortega in the box. Crespo struck a perfectly placed shot into the upper right corner, and although Dosu guessed the correct way, he had no chance.
Crespo is now tied with Bebeto for the overall tournament scoring lead with six goals.
