Emmanuel Amunike scored in the 89th minute to give Nigeria a 3-2 lead over Argentina.
Nigeria received a free kick about 20 yards out on the left side of the area after Amunike was fouled by Zanetti. Wilson Oruma took the kick and hit a low cross towards the penalty spot, where Amunike was all alone after beating the offside trap. Amunike volleyed the ball home with his left foot to give Nigeria the lead.
