NCAA Men’s Update: FIU 0 St. John’s 1 (29th minute)

Jesse Van Saun scored in the 28th minute to give St. John’s a 1-0 lead over FIU in the NCAA Championship game in Richmond, Va.

FIU’s Jorge Del Corral made a bad clearance that went straight to Ben Hickey of St. John’s. The English midfielder struck a low shot from 25 yards out, which bounced off the chest of teammate Jimmy Buscemi and fell into perfect position for Van Saun to volley home the opening goal.
