Karlsruhe defender David Regis has received his U.S. citizenship. Regis took his exam in Los Angeles May 20, passed and was sworn in. He is eligible to play for the United States and will likely see action in this weekend’s friendly against Kuwait. Regis was eligible for U.S. citizenship because he is married to an American woman.
