Argentina and Mexico will meet in the 1999 Reebok Cup, which will be held Wednesday, June 9 at Chicago’s Soldier Field. Kickoff is 8:00 p.m. (CT). The two teams recently played before over 91,000 fans at the Los Angeles Coliseum in a friendly match won by the South Americans 1-0. The Reebok Cup will be an important warmup for the 1999 Copa America in Paraguay. Both teams are scheduled to field their top players. Argentina’s Gabriel Batistuta, Hernßn Crespo and Diego Simeone are scheduled to appear in Chicago, as are Mexican stars Luis Hernandez, Ramon Ramirez and Claudio Suarez.
