Four-time world champion Brazil will face Ecuador in an international friendly on Oct. 14 at RFK Stadium. The match, which is presented by D.C. United, will begin at 7:30 p.m. The match will be Brazil’s second under new head coach Vanderley Luxemburgo, who replaced Mario Zagallo after France ’98. Individual tickets for the match will be $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the game. Tickets are available at all TicketMaster outlets and the RFK Stadium box office. However, fans may purchase a package of one general-admission ticket to the Brazil-Ecuador match and one premium ticket to a D.C. United playoff game for $30. This package deal is available only through the D.C. United main offices. Fans can call (703) 478-6600 for more information. D.C. United planholders who have already purchased playoff tickets may purchase Brazil-Ecuador tickets for a special price of $15. “We’re very pleased to be able to present this match to our fans,” said D.C. United GM Kevin Payne. “We are extremely happy to offer the opportunity for our fans to see both this match and support us in our attempt to win a third straight MLS championship while keeping it affordable to see all the matches at RFK Stadium.”
