The Chicago Fire will host the U.S. Open Cup final against the Columbus Crew Friday, Oct. 30, at Soldier Field in Chicago at 8 p.m. (CT). The Fire and Crew advanced to the finals of the 85-year-old U.S. Open Cup with semifinal victories in New Orleans Aug. 4. Originally scheduled for Aug. 26, the U.S. Open Cup final was postponed twice (after being rescheduled for Aug. 27) by Hurricane Bonnie that pounded Virginia Beach and the Eastern Seaboard. Ticket information will be announced early next week.
