Becks may be looking for a loan deal that would return him to the English Premiership in the months leading up to the Euro 2008 Championships in Austria and Switzerland. According to the London Daily Express, the England midfielder might be willing to sacrifice some of his earnings in order to do so.
Galaxy GM Alexi Lalas has given Beckham his full support in playing for England, but the club has made no mention of loaning the 32-year-old out during the off-season. The Daily Express says the matter is not in consideration. The regular MLS season ends Oct. 21 and resumes again in April.
Beckham’s 2007 season has been curtailed by a series of injuries, the most recent being a strained ligament in his right knee. The Galaxy, meanwhile, is dead last in the league and looks unlikely to make the playoffs.
