Reports all over the place are claiming that Ronaldinho’s transfer to AC Milan is an all but done deal. Spanish paper El Mundo Deportivo reported that the Barcelona playmaker would sign with Milan for about $47.4 million, after the two sides reached what Bloomberg News described as an “outline agreement” for the player’s transfer when the European window opens on June 1. El Mundo added that the deal now depends on him agreeing to personal terms with the Serie A club.

Italian paper La Gazzetta dello Sport confirmed that Ronaldinho’s brother/agent Roberto de Assis had traveled to Milan to strike the deal. De Assis said, “We only want Milan. We are here for this. Otherwise he will stay at Barca.”

Meanwhile, during a press conference on Thursday night, Milan VP Adriano Galliani told reporters that both Ronaldinho and Chelsea’s Andriy Shevchenko were “180 percent Milan players.” Ronaldinho was twice crowned World Player of the Year as a Barcelona player, guiding the team to the 2005 and 2006 La Liga titles and the 2006 UEFA Champions League title.
