The Liverpool Echo reports that Everton manager David Moyes has been eyeing U.S. midfielder Michael Bradley. According to the paper, Moyes has had a long-standing interest in the player, and sent over a scouting delegation to watch him play in Heerenveen’s Champions league playoff clash against Ajax. Unfortunately, the U.S. international was sent off after just 39 minutes and Heerenveen lost the match, 3-1.

The Echo claims that Bradley, 21, would cost somewhere in the region of $9 million. He scored a “hugely impressive” 15 goals in 35 appearances in the Eredivisie, playing mostly as a central midfielder. He finished tied for fifth in the league in the league scoring charts. Bradley is the son of American head coach Bob Bradley and has been capped 18 times by the senior national team. Tim Howard, the first-choice U.S. goalkeeper, also plays for Everton. The Echo claims that Blackburn Rovers is interested in Bradley, too.
