I'm pretty sure there's no Spanish translation for "D'oh!" but seeing how Mexican midfielder Edgar Castillo originally hails from Las Cruces, New Mexico, perhaps he knows Homer enough that it was the aggravated expression he uttered when he realized he lost not only his passport but the opportunity to represent Mexico in an important World Cup qualifier.

Called up to wear the green jersey after Giovani Dos Santos suffered a late injury, the last-minute replacement was set to travel with the team to San Pedro Sula for its away match at Honduras on Wednesday, but because he couldn't locate his passport, he was forced to remain in Mexico and return to his pro team Club America.

"I tried to get a new one after speaking with people from America and the federation but it became rather complicated because I lost my American [U.S.] passport as well," said Castillo said, a dual citizen who is undoubtedly now dubbed as doubly irresponsible by Femefut.
