In what will go down as the greatest ever Greek Cup final, Olympiakos won the Greek Cup 15-14 on penalties after a 4-4 draw, two red cards and 120 minutes of drama at the OAKA Spiros Louis Stadium in Athens on Saturday. Englishman Matt Derbyshire, whose arrival to Olympiakos had been met with mixed reactions in January, headed home his second goal of the match in injury time to send the game into overtime. After a scoreless overtime, and knotted at 14-14 in penalties, Olympiakos goalkeeper Antonis Nikopolidis saved a penalty from Agustin Pelletieri and then scored himself to complete the club's domestic double and their 24th Greek Cup title.
