The talents of Borussia Dortmund’s towering defender Neven Subotic, who played for the U.S. U-17 national team but now represents Serbia, have been well documented by a trident of esteemed English Premier League clubs including Arsenal, title contender Chelsea, and nouveau riche Manchester City. Subotic appears to have a host of destinations to pick from, if reports from a plethora of media sources are to be believed.

Although the 20-year-old says he is open to a move, he also said that it would take an “extraordinary bid” to draw him away from Dortmund. “”This would be great for both, Borussia Dortmund and me,” Subotic said of a possible transfer. “They would have big money and I would know that this new club is really interested in me as a player.” Subotic is expected to fetch a fee in the region of $16-20 million.
