The University of Portland's JOSH SIMPSON has given up his senior year and signed a two-year contract with Millwall of the English Championship Division.
The Victoria, B.C., native had a strong showing for Canada at the 2003 World Youth Championship and earned his first national team cap in a friendly against Barbados on Jan. 18, 2004. He also started all three matches for Canada in the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying. He caught the eye of Millwall manager Dennis Wise when Millwall played Canada in a friendly last month.
