Players from San Jose and D.C. United, the two MLS teams without games this weekend, dominate U.S. coach Bruce ArenaÆs roster for MondayÆs friendly against Wales (live on ESPN2, 10 pm ET/7 pm PT).

Five San Jose players, including the uncapped Brian Ching, and six D.C. United players, including the uncapped Alecko Eskandarian are among the 17-man roster.

Claudio Reyna will be joining the squad for the first time since captaining the USA at the 2002 World Cup. But Reyna, who suffered a torn ACL in October, is still rehabilitating and is not expected to see action.

Reyna is one of five foreign-based players coming to camp. The Sunderland midfielder is joined by Greg Vanney (Bastia/France), Jovan Kirovski (Birmingham/England), Eddie Lewis (Preston Northend/England) and Joe Cannon (RC Lens/France).

''The Wales match gives us an opportunity to see several of our European-based players for the first time this year,'' said Arena. ''The game provides a chance for our team to begin to build momentum as we prepare for the upcoming tournaments this summer.''

Five players on the roster were a part of the USAÆs 2002 World Cup squad: Reyna, Jeff Agoos, Earnie Stewart, Lewis and landon Donovan.

The USA is preparing for the Confederations Cup June 18-29 in France, where it faces Turkey, Brazil (June 21) and Cameroon in the first round. The USA will compete in the Gold Cup July 12-27.
