U.S. SOCCER: Wolyniec and Torres join U.S. camp

John Wolyniec (MetroStars) and Arturo Torres (Los Angeles Galaxy) are serving as last-minute replacements for Clint Mathis and Pete Vagenas at the U.S. men's national team camp that opened last Friday at the National Training Center in Carson, Calif. This is the first camp for Bruce Arena's team at the new facility, which opened in June.

Chris Albright's goal on a penalty kick gave the seniors a 1-0 win over Glenn Myernick's U-23s in the first of three scrimmages. The full team and the U-23s meet in two more scrimmages, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 16) and Thursday morning (Dec. 18).
