Goalkeeper Hope Solo notched her fifth shutout in six Swedish League games on Saturday, leading surprising Kopparbergs/Goteborg in a 0-0 tie with visiting Balinge that left the club 4-1-1 in the Damallsvenskan.

Solo, a University of Washington All-American who played last year for the WUSAÆs Philadelphia Charge, was flawless in the win, halting Swedish World Cup standout Josefine Oqvist with a dangerous first-half chance. Solo hasnÆt surrendered a goal in 283 minutes, posting consecutive shutouts against Hammarby, Stattena and Balinge.

After the game, Solo began a trek to Southern California, where she joins the U.S. womenÆs national teamÆs Olympic Residency as a ôguestö player.

Nancy Augustyniak returned from a week-long stint with the national team to help FFC Turbine Potsdam overcome SC 07 Bad Neuenahr in German League play Sunday. Her former Atlanta Beat teammate Conny Pohlers scored the decisive goal in the 64th minute.

Augutyniak played 90 minutes on the back line, but her twin sister, Julie, did not see action. Julie AugustyniakÆs role with Turbine has diminished greatly the past month.

Turbine (16-1-1) remained six points behind FFC Frankfurt (18-1-0) in the Frauen-Bundesliga. Frankfurt beat FCR 2001 Duisburg, 2-0, as former Carolina Courage star Birgit Prinz scored her 16th and 17th goals of the season.

Former Duquesne University defender Becky Barritt made her Finnish League debut, coming on late in FC HonkaÆs 1-1 tie at FC United.
