Barbados was the only seeded team to lose in first leg of the second round of World Cup 2006 qualifying in the CONCACAF zone.

The Bajan Rockets fell to Caribbean foe St. Kitts & Nevis, 2-0, in Waterford on Sunday.

Three seeded teams tied on the road: Costa Rica (2-2 at Cuba), Guatemala (1-1 at Surinam), St. Vincent & Grenadines (2-2 at Nicaragua) and Jamaica (1-1 vs. Haiti in Miami).

The potential U.S. semifinal round foe in the worst trouble is El Salvador, which only managed a 2-1 win over Bermuda at home.

Assuming the United States gets past Grenada, it meets the Jamaica-Haiti and El Salvador-Bermuda winners along with the winner of the Panama-St. Lucia series. The Panamanians were easy 4-0 winners over St. Lucia at home on Sunday.

Mexico plays its first leg against Dominica next Saturday in San Antonio, Texas. The start of the series was delayed because of the Mexican league final won by UNAM over Guadalajara on penalty kicks.
