Venus James netted her third goal of the Swedish season, and Hope Solo notched her sixth shutout in Wednesday's 10th round of Damallsvenskan play.

James, who won WUSA titles with the San Jose CyberRays and Carolina Courage, scored the final goal in league leader Djurgarden/Alvsjo's 6-0 romp over Hammarby IF DFF. It was James' third goal in the Damallsvenskan, to go along with two lower-division goals with Djurgarden/Alvsjo's farm club.

Kristen Bengtsson scored a hat trick, and her fellow Swedish national-teamers Victoria Svensson and Jane Tornqvist also tallied for Djurgarden/Alvsjo (9-0-1), who are one point ahead of European champion Umea IK (9-1-0).

Solo, formerly a Philadelphia Charge goalkeeper, posted her sixth shutout in nine games for Kopparbergs/Goteborg (4-4-2), which earned a 0-0 tie at Mallbackens IF. K/Goteborg, which has been held without a goal six times, has gained all its points this season in Solo shutouts. It will play at Djurgarden/Alvsjo on Saturday.
