Despite assurances from Juve executives that no one else would be leaving the relegated club, Mino Raiola, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent, confirmed that the striker intends to play elsewhere next season. New coach Didier Deschamps has been trying hard to convince the Swedish striker to stay to no avail. “Ibra will very probably leave Turin,” Raiola told a Rome-based radio station earlier today. He also ruled out the possibility of a loan spell at another club because “that is a very difficult solution when dealing with such important players,” he said. Ibrahimovic’s decision to leave is more about not wanting to play in Serie B than wanting to be guaranteed a run in the Champions League this season, the agent added. There’s been plenty of interest for Ibrahimovic, particularly from Inter and AC Milan, although Juve have stamped a “shocking” $52.5 million transfer valuation on the 25-year old, which is likely to deter most, if not all interested clubs. Even so Raiola confirmed that both Italian and foreign clubs have expressed interest in the player.
