Former Philadelphia Charge forward Darci Borski scored her third goal of the season, and second in three games, as Asker climbed to second place in the Norwegian Toppserien with a 5-0 romp Tuesday over Medkila.

Borski's 13th-minute goal started Asker (8-1-4) on the rout, with Lindy Melissa Wiik, Lise Klaveness and former New York Power winger Anita Rapp adding first-half goals. Medkila fell to 2-10-1.

Borski, who starred at the University of Virginia, also had the first goal in a 3-2 victory Aug. 14 over Arna-Bjornar and the third in a 5-0 win May 1 at Arna-Bjornar.

Asker (8-1-4), from an Oslo suburb, is even on points (28) — but stronger on goal-differential (plus-21 to plus-15) — with defending champion Trondheims-Orn (8-1-4) after 13 of 18 rounds. League leader Roa (10-2-1) has a three-point lead.

Borski also started up front in Asker's 3-2 victory Saturday over Klepp (4-7-2). Wiik scored two Asker goals and Rapp, who played collegiately at Oakland University, got the other. Former Boston Breakers star Dagny Mellgren had one of Klepp's goals.

Asker on Saturday meets Arna-Bjornar in the Norwegian Cup quarterfinals.
