Trinidad & Tobago defender Marlon Rojas, who started in his team's 2-1 World Cup qualifying loss to the USA last month, has signed with Real Salt Lake. The 25-year-old has seven starts so far in the World Cup qualifying campaign for Germany 2006. Rojas played college ball at St. John's and the University of Tampa.

Chivas USA acquired the rights to Jesus Ochoa, 23, and Antonio Martinez, 27, from the Los Angeles Galaxy in exchange for an "allocation." Both are Mexico natives who played college ball in Southern California, where Martinez, nicknamed "Chivas" also played high school ball.

Ochoa played 19 games for the Galaxy in 2002-03. Martinez played for Dallas and Los Angeles in 2000-03. All but four of Martinez's 72 MLS games came in Dallas.  Afterward, he saw limited playing time in stints with Spanish Second Division club Salamanca and Mexican First Division club Necaxa.
