American Oguchi Onyewu scored twice, including Standard Liege's gamewinner, in a 3-2 win over Mons in the Belgian First Division last weekend.
The 22-year-old defender, who had been on loan from French club Metz until Standard recently bought out his contract, was making his 11th start of the season, having missed only one game, for a yellow-card suspension. He picked up his fourth yellow of the season before notching the first goal on a header off a corner kick. He scored the gamewinner with 11 minutes left and Standard moved into fifth place.
