Mark Dillon Portland, Ore. Now that Kasey Keller is signed with Rayo Vallecano de Madrid, any tips on how we can follow his time with this club, on the Web? The Rayo official website doesn’t seem to be oriented to articles and breaking news. I realize that they’re the unfashionable third team in that city compared to Atletico and Real Madrid, but I enjoy following Kasey’s career. Amparo Simon: Your best bet will be to check out some of the Spanish news websites, many of which are quite detailed. Here’s a few: “Yahoo! Deportes Futbol” provides information about the First and Second Divisions. It is very well organized. http://es.sports.yahoo.com//foot/index.html “Ole Deportes” is a Spanish sports server, similar to Yahoo en Espanol: http://deportes.ole.com/espdep/futbol/portada.cfm “Futbol en la Red” is a Spanish league soccer server that includes team rosters, statistics, game reports and news: http://204.146.47.50/laliga/ Then there are a couple of Madrid sports dailies: Marca and As http://www.marca.com/ http://www.diario-as.es/ El Pais is Spain’s largest circulation daily and it’s website address is: http://www.elpais.es/ For information about Rayo Vallecano’s history, its controversial owner, Jose Maria Ruiz Mateos, and its status among the Madrid clubs, see an article I wrote in the Aug. 30 issue of Soccer America Magazine.
