Last week in Belgium, Roeselare goalkeeper Juergen Sierens held on to the ball after a tough challenge by Charleroi striker Sebastien Chabaud.
Incorrectly assuming he was awarded a free kick, Sierens put the ball on the ground and backed up to take the kick. That's when Charleroi's Francois Sterchele came forward and shot the ball into an empty net.
