U.S. women's national team head coach April Heinrichs has called 24 players into camp five days before the Feb. 16 friendly against Iceland in Charleston, S.C. (TV: ESPN2, live, 6 p.m.).

Veterans Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly and Julie Foudy — the three most capped players in the history of the international soccer — return after taking January off.

Heinrichs called up 16 players who traveled to China, where the Americans won the four nation's tournament, and three of the top four choices at the 2003 WUSA Draft: Aly Wagner (the first pick to the San Diego Spirit), midfielder Devvyn Hawkins (the third pick overall to the Boston Breakers) and goalkeeper Hope Solo (the fourth pick overall to the Philadelphia Charge).

Heinrichs called in three college players — UCLA junior Nandi Pryce and UNC freshmen Lori Chalupny and Lindsay Tarpley — as well as high school senior Heather OÆReilly. Wagner, Hawkins, Tarpley and OÆReilly played in China.

Four veterans — defender Joy Fawcett, midfielder Lorrie Fair, and forwards Tiffeny Milbrett and Shannon MacMillan — are being rested.
