Coach Bruce Arena has added one foreign-based player — Steve Cherundolo of Hannover 96 — to his squad of MLS players that lost, 1-0, to Argentina last Saturday. Gone from the roster are Eddie Pope and Ben Olsen. Pope, who didn't play against Argentina, is still recovering from knee surgery three months ago. Olsen, who played the first 45 minutes, may have reinjured his ankle. Defender Sasha Victorine, who played the first 56 minutes at right back before suffering a right quad contusion, returned to Los Angeles.

HEAD-TO-HEAD: The USA has never lost to Jamaica — winning seven and tying five times in games dating back to 1988. The Americans have outscored the Reggae Boys 21-5, but have won just once in five encounters at Kingston's National Stadium.

AMERICA'S JAMAICAN: U.S. forward Jeff Cunningham was born and raised in Montego Bay before moving to Florida at the age of 14. Cunningham has rented a bus to transport 25 family members and friends on the four-hour trip from Montego Bay to Kingston for the match. Cunningham received his U.S. citizenship in November of 2001.
