Brian McBride, who joined Everton on a 3-month loan deal from MLS, celebrated his Premier League debut on Sunday by scoring the first goal in a 4-3 loss to Tottenham Hotspur.
Ten minutes into game, McBride met a Scott Gemmill pass and slotted the ball past U.S. teammate goalkeeper Kasey Keller.
Tottenham ultimately prevailed thanks to a Robbie Keane hat trick.
