MLS MVP Carlos Ruiz won't be suiting up for Municipal in the playoffs of Guatemala's Torneo Apertura.
The Guatemalan soccer federation decided against Municipal in its claim to utilize the services of the Galaxy star, who has been training with the Reds for the last two weeks in anticipation of playing in the playoff series against Xelaju. Ruiz was signed by MLS from Municipal rival Comunicaciones, which objected to the loan deal.
