Pepperdine claimed its first West Coast Conference title, and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament, after rallying for a 2-1 victory over visiting San Francisco in its regular-season finale on Saturday.

The eighth-ranked Waves became the first team aside from Santa Clara or Portland to win a WCC crown, which they share with the fifth-ranked Broncos. Pepperdine earned the NCAA berth because it beat Santa Clara, 1-0, on Oct. 25.

The Waves were one of eight teams to claim automatic NCAA berths on Saturday, joining the winners of six conference tournaments: No. 17 Denver (Sun Belt), BYU (Mountain West), Cincinnati (Conference USA), SMU (WAC), Central Florida (Atlantic Sun), Idaho State (Big Sky) and Radford (Big South).

Megan Woods and Ali Pavoni scored goals off the bench for Pepperdine.

Atlantic Sun: Courtney Baines' 79th-minute strike gave Central Florida its second successive A-Sun tournament title and NCAA tournament berth with a 3-2 victory over Jacksonville at Buies Creek, N.C. The Golden Eagles, winners of eight of the past 10 conference titles, avenged a 3-2 loss to Jacksonville last month.

Big Sky: Stacy Peterson's 95th-minute golden goal lifted host Idaho State past Portland State, 1-0, and to its second successive Big Sky tournament title. Peterson's strike, from a left-counterattack, was her 11th goal of the season.

Big South: BSC MVP Nikki Porter scored one goal and assisted on Alison Vollick's as Radford topped UNC Asheville in the conference tournament final, 2-0, at Charleston, S.C.

Conference USA: Tasha Wagner's 84th-minute goal was the difference for Cincinnati, which claimed its second successive C-USA tournament title with a 2-1 victory over Marquette at Charlotte, N.C. Amy Simonson assisted on Wagner's winner and Tianna Oliver's 14th-minute goal.

Ivy League: Princeton won its first outright Ivy League title when Dartmouth fell to Penn, 2-1, in Hanover, N.H. Robin Watson scored both goals for the Quakers. The Big Green would have, with a win over Penn, shared the title with Princeton, which closed its season with a 1-1 tie vs. Colorado College.

Mountain West: Jeni Viernes scored four goals as BYU clubbed New Mexico, 5-1, in the MWC final at Provo, Utah. The Cougars have won four successive MWC regular-season and tournament titles. Viernes was chosen tournament MVP and joined on the all-tournament team by teammates Brooke Bowman, Aleisha Cramer-Rose and Jennifer Henry-Fielding.

Southern: Ashley Murray and Andrea Morrison, with her second gamewinner of the tournament, scored goals as top-seeded Furman rallied from an early deficit to beat host UNC Greensboro, 2-1, in a SoCon semifinal. Carolyn Morris's 105th-minute goal lifted College of Charleston past Wofford, 2-1. The Terriers had forced overtime with Jaime Cutts' 30-yard blast to the upper corner with 23 seconds remaining in regulation.

Sun Belt: Tournament MVP Katie Antongiovanni scored goals two minutes apart midway through the first half and Denver dominated North Texas, 3-0, to win its second successive Sun Belt tournament crown. Camille Flenniken also scored for the Pioneers, who outshot North Texas, 26-1. Denver beat all three tournament opponents — Arkansas State and Western Kentucky in the first two rounds — by 3-0 margins.

WAC: SMU rallied from an early deficit, getting second-half goals from Tara Comfort, Lauren Mussallem and a penalty kick by Jill Heinemann to beat UTEP, 3-1, its second win over the Miners in eight days. Amber Mack gave UTEP a second-minute lead, but SMU — stronger in the back with the return of goalkeeper Erin McLeod and defender Sasha Andrews from the Canadian national team — scored twice in a 12-minute span to take charge.
