The latest rumor spinning out from the revolving doors of David Beckham contract negotiations is that AC Milan and the LA Galaxy might end up hashing out a "unique agreement" that would entail the two teams sharing the 33-year-old midfielder's rights across the next 15 months.

According to reports from SkySports.com, the "time share" would amount to Beckham finishing the Serie A season and then returning to MLS in June, where he'd finish out the MLS season before moving back to Milan in November and remaining through the end of 2009-10 campaign until potentially competing in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in June.

If this deal gets done, it would be appear a win-win for both teams/leagues, but maybe not so much for Beckham, who would be without a break in action for the next 18 months while essentially playing for three different teams (including any call-ups to represent England). No transfer amount was reported, but either way a decision must be made by next Monday, March 9, when Beckham's loan is to officially come to a close.
