Beginning May 2, Fox Sports World will broadcast 25 United Soccer Leagues (USL) games in 2003:
The package includes the A-League (18 regular-season, two playoff and the final), USL Pro Select League (final), Premier Development League (final), W-League (final) and a Super Y-League finals highlight show.
''We were very pleased with the response we received to our first season of broadcasts on Fox Sports World,'' said Dave Askinas, USL executive director and COO. ''We are thrilled to now be a regular live prime-time Friday night feature on the destination channel for soccer fans.''
Friday night games will air at either 8:00 or 11:00 pm ET depending on the location of the match. Each of the 19 A-League teams will be shown at least once during the season.
USL and Fox Sports International are in the second year of a five-year broadcast deal. Returning to call matches are Brad Feldman, Sean Wheelock and Paul Dolan.
