We have been informed that Synacor.com (formerly Chek.com), which has provided these free web-based e-mail accounts at socceramerica.net and hitthe.net since 1998, is terminating our service at the end of the day today.
All accounts which have been active in the last 90 days have been transferred to a new provider at BigMailBox.com.
However, your account may be unavailable for a few days until the new provider is able to get all the accounts transferred and set up.
If you try to log in and your username and password is refused, it probably means that your account has not been activated yet on the new server. Please wait a day or two and try again.
Please do NOT sign up again or your username and password will not be able to be transferred.
