[REF WATCH] Responding to reports in December that the red card Chippenham’s David Pratt received three seconds after entering the game set a world record, the Irish Times’ Mary Hannigan recalled an ejection in 2000 of Cross Farm Park Celtic’s Lee Todd two seconds into a Sunday league game.

Todd, after the ref’s opening whistle, said, “**** me, that was loud,” and was given his marching orders for foul and abusive language. Todd later defended his words: “Anyone else would have done the same – he nearly blew my ear off.”
