"We haven't lost a game since the second game of the season," Los Angeles Galaxy coach Bruce Arena said. "The problem is we haven't won a lot."
On Saturday, the Galaxy (1-1-6) earned another draw in a heated battle against the Seattle Sounders, a game that saw eight cautions and one red card, a 57th-minute ejection to Seattle's James Riley. Arena didn't hide his disappointment about not getting a win with a long one-man advantage. Arena suggested that fatigue wore on his players toward the end of the game. "This was our third game in like eight days, with two on the road, so we were a little fatigued today for sure," he said.
"I think we got tired," Galaxy striker Landon Donovan said. "It was a little unfortunate. I think we worked hard for 70 minutes and played pretty well. Then, I think we got tired and we got lazy. We stopped wanting the ball. We stopped moving. All things considered, it was still pretty good."
