Bradley’s emotional season continued when it stunned Maryland, 3-2, in overtime and moved into the quarterfinals for the first time. An epic Maryland collapse sent the game into overtime, where Bradley won on a golden goal Maryland coach Sasho Cirovski called “a great imitation of the Hand of God goal.” Cirovski termed the loss the most difficult in his 15 years with the Terrapins but also lauded the effort of the Braves whose season that had begun in tragedy continued in triumph.

Paul Kennedy examines the upset of the year
Massachusetts’ 2-1 victory over No. 1 seed Boston College Wednesday night will go down as one of the biggest upsets in the history of the NCAA Division I Men’s Tournament, but it certainly wasn’t a fluke. The Minutemen came back from a 1-0 deficit at halftime and owned the second half. The victory was just reward for their coach, Sam Koch, who has preached the team concept and spent wisely.

Duke hits stride at right time
[ELITE 8 COUNTDOWN] Three weeks ago, after losing in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament, Duke wasn’t sure it would even make the NCAA Division I Women’s Tournament. Now the Blue Devils are one win away from going to the Women’s College Cup.
