COLLEGE: Park upsets Lindsey Wilson in NAIA men's semifinals

Lindsey Wilson's reign as NAIA men's champion is over.

The host Blue Raiders' bid for a fifth straight title ended in the semifinals Monday night when they lost to Park University, 4-3, on penalty kicks after the Pirates rallied for two second-half goals to tie LWC, 2-2.

Chris Lisaka (68th minute) and Mekete Gashaw (84th) scored for Park after Joshua Bernard and Boyzzz Khumalo had scored to give LWC the lead.

Mobile upset top-seed Auburn-Montgomery, 1-0, in the other semifinal on Teba McKnight's goal.

AUM had beaten the Rams twice earlier in the season.
