Santa Clara's Aly Wagner, a senior midfielder from San Jose, Calif., has won the women's Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy.
Wagner, who helped Santa Clara to a runner-up finish to Portland in the 2002 College Cup, won convincingly — ahead of Penn State's Christie Welsh, North Carolina's Catherine Reddick and Portland's Christine Sinclair.
