Kristen Habenicht scored two goals, including the overtime winner, and third-seeded Fairleigh Dickinson claimed the East Coast Athletic Conference's Division I women's soccer title on Sunday with a 3-2 victory at top-seeded Fordham.
Habenicht finished a 96th-minute breakaway to lift the Knights (10-8-1), who edged Binghamton, 1-0, in Saturday's semifinal. Her 76th-minute chip gave FDU a 2-1 advantage, but Fordham (11-7-2) rallied to tie on Sarah Hopkins' 88th-minute strike.
Holly Laubinger's header gave the Rams a 25th-minute lead. Kelly Geraghty scored an equalizer nine minutes later.
